Pastoral Support

At Da Vinci Academy, we are committed to nurturing every student in our care and helping them reach their full potential. Our pastoral support is delivered through our dedicated Achievement Team, which includes an Assistant Achievement Leader for each year group and an Achievement Leader responsible for the following groups:

  • Year 7
  • Year 8 and 9
  • Year 10
  • Year 11

Working alongside each student’s tutor, the team strives to support students’ learning, wellbeing, and overall progress.

Weekly assemblies provide opportunities for students to take part in a variety of activities where they can earn A-points. These A-points can then be exchanged for rewards from our school rewards catalogue.

Our tutor programme is designed to develop students’ literacy skills through the DVA Reads initiative. In addition, every Monday, students review their academic progress and discuss with their tutors how they are working towards the targets they set for themselves each half term.
