Da Vinci Academy celebrates GCSE success

Students at Da Vinci Academy celebrated their GCSE results, marking the end of an important chapter and the beginning of exciting new opportunities.

Da Vinci Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is proud of the achievements of every student and wishes them every success as they take their next steps into sixth form, further education and apprenticeships.

While all students have done well, there have been some notable individual performances, including:

• Mazie Seal who achieved a Level 2 Distinction* in Child Development; a grade of 9-8 in combined science; grade 8s in maths, history and French; a grade 7 in English language; and a grade 6 in English literature.
• Mabel Underwood who successfully achieved a grade of 9-8 in combined science; grade 8s in maths, English language and English literature; and grade 6s in French, history and art.
• Mahmod Haj Hammo who achieved a Level 2 Distinction* in Construction; grade 8s in maths, science and English language; grade 7s in geography and science; and grade 6s in English literature and computing.
• Connor Salvage-Mullins who successfully achieved a grade of 8-7 in combined science; grade 7s in maths, history and English language; grade 6s in English literature and computing; and a grade 5 in French.
• Thinuli Wassini, Head Student, who immigrated from Sri Lanka 4 years ago went onto to achieve 7-6 in combined science; grade 7 in English literature; grade 6s in maths and English Language; grade 5 in geography; and grade 4 in French.
